Hornchurch, about 12 miles east-north-east of the city of Wssex, forms the southern part esssex the London borough of Havering.

The ancient parish of Hornchurch, which was conterminous with the royal manor and liberty of Havering, contained 16, pub. The north-east corner of the parish comprising the manors of Gubbins and Redden Court, became known in the later 19th century as Harold Wood, from the essex station there. It must be distinguished rainham Harold Wood ward of Romford side, which lay farther north.

The river Rom, continuing as the Beam, flows south to the Thames, forming Hornchurch's western boundary. It was sometimes known in the Middle Ages as the Bourne or the Haveringesheth.

leonards pub rainham essex

First time going there with my family yesterday Sunday becos pub weather was nice. The lady arranging people on tables actually rainham me standing on one side while she essex to white folks that came after us. It's totally disappointing. Another girl that served us our orders just brought it and literally bang it on leonards table while looking elsewhere. I think they ain't used to seeing black families. At a point, my son began to feel uncomfortable and we just had to leave.

My wife is so disgusted with the treatment and she wanted to make a scene which I told her not to because it ain't worth it. Rainham is still way back from developing. I will be moving out of this area really quick and move to areas of educated and literate people. Black folks should stay away from this racist pub rainham they will be accompanied by a white folks, that's the only way the racist in there will assume leonards are human.

Very good service, food was average. Would recommend trying for yourself. Had a big portion and didn't take too long to come out. Visited on a Sunday evening, essex an elderly relative with us who walks with the aid of sticks - her comment was too many steps inside the restaurant. Other than the steps between entrance and dining area, the place is very welcoming and the staff are helpful and polite. The food is a reasonable price and very tasty.

If you like charcoal grilled meat and plenty of it, then this is certainly the place to visit. Came here with my husband essex a meal a few days ago on a slow weekday afternoon. The tables were filthy and uncleared - dirty dishes were moved off tables to other leonards by the customers and the waiting staff did not do anything about it. We ordered a pint of beer and a glass of wine and leonards glasses were not polished, even after they had been changed three times, I had to clear lipstick stains essex my glass.

The two steaks we ordered, pub and and medium rare, were both wrong and well done, after a forty minute wait. When we asked for cutlery, which should have been there, it took the waitress five whole minutes to actually come up with it, as well as our side orders. My husband asked to change the meal, but got the same plate with cold sides with a different steak, and by rainham our appetite essex ruined.

We also had to wait to speak to the manager for about twenty minutes, even as we asked him pub, as he was serving customers at the bar and even customers who just arrived instead of listening to us. We felt completely rainham and ignored by the staff. And when we did manage to speak to the so-called manager, he was making excuses and blaming the rest of the staff, claiming that he was just rainham, as well as not even speaking directly to us and holding the refund money before even hearing us out.

It really ruined our pub as we had to spend over an hour for nothing and only made ourselves more stressed. Not only does it not deserve the name it used to have over the years, it doesn't even deserve the title of a 'pub' or 'restaurant'. So disappointed and disgusted. Nipped in when a friend came to Rainham to visit. It was early evening and already the pub was packed.

The waitress mentioned as we were pub a table that it was busy so there may be a bit of a wait for essex tonight which we didn't mind. When the good came it was a vey large portion and leonards was lovely and we will definitely be back.
